We have created a program with the knowledge of specialized professionals that annually welcomes thousands of employees, collaborators, and executives from national and international businesses. Our program, which can hold up to 150 participants, relates sailor tasks on a boat with everyday corporate life in an engaging and dynamic way over one or more sessions at sea.
For three hours, we challenge your employees’ coordination and teamwork as they learn to maneuver a boat and face a series of exciting challenges.

Program:
- The activity is carried out using sailing navigation, except during entry and exit from the marina or due to of lack of wind.
- The activity fee includes skippers, safety equipment, and participation insurance.
- There may be a few (or many) reviving water splashes during this tour.
- This experience is not recommended for pregnant women.

HOW OUR PROGRAM STARTED
Any sport has techniques and methods that, when used outside of its normal setting, offer great potential. Some sports emphasize physicality, others focus on strategy, and some demand intense concentration.
A sailor experiences a range of feelings during their first sailing session. Getting used to a new environment, the initial unease and imbalance brought on by being in a new setting, strange names and expressions, and ongoing coordination and focus tests. Although it may appear to be a laid-back sport, there are hours at sea, practice, and learning that go into it. In a competitive setting, it is a sport that forces us to work on all fronts, whether individually or as a team.
Diogo Barros realized as a management student that the professional market strongly valued the talents and traits he had acquired as a coach and sailor. However, it was as the founder and general manager of BBDouro that he saw sailing's potential as a tool for raising employees’ performance.
Thus, a Team Building program was born, aiming to impart skills that we know, from experience, are an asset in any personal and professional situation:

Because of Douro Marina's excellent location of Douro Marina, we can design team-building activities so that they take place in a variety of settings. Our Team Building regattas extend from the coast of Matosinhos and Vila Nova de Gaia to the Ribeira area, depending on the day's weather conditions.
