World Oceans Day is celebrated with SEABIN at BBDouro
World Oceans Day
World Oceans Day is born in 1992, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
This commemoration was proposed by Canada at ECO-92 (United Nations Conference on Environment and Development), also known as “Earth Summit”.
The purpose of this day is to bring people together in awareness, love and respect for our oceans. This day is celebrated every year to mark the constant change in the ecological development of our planet.
Media evolution is an important support when it comes to mass awareness. We are walking together towards a better planet thanks to the communication of important movements that are not forgotten in the fabric of our History, as is the case of this day.
The operation of this vacuum is quite simple: a pump sucks material into a filter – everything that is not a liquid component is trapped in the filter, thus making the water cleaner.
The aim of the Seabin Project is not to sell as many Seabins as possible, but to make us live in a world where Seabin will not be a necessity.
Hand in hand with influential people and concepts, Seabin Project is reaching its goal.
Seabin & BBDouro
In April of this year, BBDouro bought and put into practice its own Seabin. We always work to improve what we love the most, and to strictly follow the Sustainable Development Goals that we proudly support. Here, we highlight Goal 14 – Life Below Water. We want to not only improve the quality of life and the aquatic environment, but also to raise awareness among those around us for problems as small as microplastics, but which kill masses of marine living beings every year.
