In 2020, BBDouro installed and put Seabin into practice in Douro Marina.

Seabin is an automatic garbage vacuum cleaner, created by the Seabin Project.

The operation of this vacuum cleaner is quite simple: a pump sucks organic and non-organic material into a filter. All non-liquid components are retained in the filter, thus making the water cleaner.

The objective of the Seabin Project is not to sell as many Seabins as possible, but rather to create a reality in which the use of Seabin is no longer a necessity.
